End-user licence agreement
1. Operator and scope
MDDS AI Bookkeeper (the “Application”) is a private, self-hosted integration operated by MD Digital Solutions Ltd (the “Operator”) for its authorised internal accounting activities. It connects to a QuickBooks Online company only following authorisation by a person with appropriate permissions.
2. Permitted use
The Application is for authorised personnel and approved support providers only. Users must protect their credentials and must not attempt to circumvent access restrictions, misuse data, or connect an account without authority.
3. Functionality and limitations
Early releases import accounting data and present transaction history for analysis. The current deployment is configured without accounting write operations. Any later automation, AI-assisted categorisation, or posting functionality is subject to separate configuration, testing and appropriate authorisation. The Application is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax judgement.
4. Connected services
The Application uses Intuit QuickBooks Online APIs and may rely on security, DNS and access services provided by Cloudflare. Use of those independent services is also subject to their applicable terms. QuickBooks is a product of Intuit; the Application is independently developed and is not endorsed by Intuit.
5. Security and access
The Operator restricts access to approved users, maintains application credentials separately from displayed records and protects stored QuickBooks authentication tokens. Authorised administrators remain responsible for the host operating system, backups, updates and access management.
6. Data and privacy
How the Application processes personal information is explained in its Privacy Policy. Only connect accounting data that the Operator is authorised to process.
7. Availability and changes
Service may be interrupted for maintenance or due to third-party availability. The Operator may update or discontinue the internal Application and will review these terms when functionality materially changes.
